We never learned about Bosnia and Herzegovina growing up, so we knew we had to visit when we were travelling through the Balkans.

Is Bosnia and Herzegovina vegan-friendly? Bosnia and Herzegovina has vegan-friendly options throughout the country, but it’s not the easiest country for vegans. We found some amazing options in Mostar, but not a lot of luck outside of the main cities. Luckily the local cuisine is vegetable-heavy!
Is Bosnia and Herzegovina budget-friendly? Yes! Bosnia and Herzegovina is a very affordable place to visit. Accommodation, transport and food prices are lower than in Western Europe.
