Thailand

A trip to Thailand is a dream come true. With incredible cuisine, impressive beaches and beautiful culture, there’s no wonder why it’s the most popular country in the region.

Thailand is one of our favourite Southeast Asian countries and we can’t stop visiting! At this point, we’ve spent months travelling the region and also lived in Koh Lanta whilst volunteering for two months.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing trip, a backpacking adventure or just want to spend time in the cities, you won’t be disappointed! Here are our Thailand travel guides:

Planning a trip to Thailand

Take a look at our travelling in Thailand guide to learn a few tips on prices, how to get around and a few general rules in the country.

Is Thailand vegan-friendly? Yes! We’ve visited a lot of places in Thailand and have never struggled to find somewhere to eat. Happy Cow helps find recommended places to eat. We also love hunting down authentic Jay restaurants (vegan Thai restaurants).

Is Thailand budget-friendly? Thailand is very affordable for travellers. From accommodation to food and transport, you’ll be able to stick to a budget if you want to.

Favourite island in Thailand? We’ll always have a place in our hearts for Koh Lanta after living there for two months. We were volunteering at Lanta Animal Welfare and explored the island every other day!
