The country is filled with impressive landscapes, diverse cultures and a variety of beach destinations. Cappadocia is becoming more popular each year due to their famous hot air balloons.
We’ve visited the bustling city of Istanbul and the peaceful area of Ölüdeniz during our trips to Turkey. It was the first country we saw turtles in the ocean!

Is Turkey vegan-friendly? Yes, it can be! Istanbul is vegan-friendly with healthy and wholesome vegan restaurants and various options at restaurants all over the city. The resorts in the south will have vegan options but they may be a little harder to find. Use Happy Cow to research the area before your trip.
Is Turkey budget-friendly? Turkey is an affordable country to visit. You’ll find inexpensive street food and great prices on food at restaurants. Some of the resorts can get quite pricey but if you book in advance, there are always deals. Getting around the country has some extra cost as Turkey is huge!
